Go Away Fay!

Since we are outside the "cone of error," the college will be open tomorrow. It would not have been a good way to start the new school year (of course, being blown away or drowning can be a bummer, too). For some reason, the Broward Public Schools will be closed tomorrow. I'm sure some students will use that as an excuse for not coming to class, but it won't work. We had a hellacious storm a couple of days ago in the late afternoon. The rain was incredible, and then we had marble-sized hail stones. They were bouncing off all my windows.

I am looking forward to classes tomorrow. I guess I have loafed enough.
